Free, Pro, And IAP Questions

Peaceful Journey Pro is a one-time, non-consumable purchase processed by Apple through StoreKit, not a monthly subscription. The U.S. App Store price is US$19.99; the App Store purchase sheet is authoritative for the final local price and availability. For paid feature access, include whether the issue is product display, purchase, Restore Purchases, refund/revocation state, or feature unlock after purchase.

If Pro does not stay unlocked after relaunch, keep the device online, open Settings → Membership, use Restore Purchases, and wait for StoreKit verification. A pending, cancelled, refunded, revoked, or unverified transaction does not unlock Pro.

Same-Wi-Fi Local Guide Radio requires Pro on the participating devices before an active session, microphone use, Local Network discovery, transmission, or receiving. It does not use hosted calling.

Local Guide Permission Problems

Local Guide may ask for microphone or Local Network permission only when the user explicitly starts the feature and the relevant paid entitlement is available when required. Locked preview screens may explain the purpose of permissions without starting a session.

• Microphone is used for user-started voice communication.
• Local Network is used to discover nearby devices on the same local network.
• The Pro guide starts Guide Radio and shows a join QR; listeners on the same Wi-Fi scan it in the app and join in listen-only mode.
• A listener can use Guide Call when help is needed. Hosted calls and the retired radio-mode picker are not part of this release.
• Stop, all-off, leave, and mute should remain available during an active session.

Journey Lens Translation

Journey Lens separates Photo and Translation camera modes. Translation processes one rear-camera frame after the user presses the shutter, recognizes text with Apple Vision, and shows the translated result on screen. Supported iOS versions and language pairs use Apple's on-device translation; iOS may ask the user to approve a required language-pack download.

If no result appears, confirm Camera permission, select source and target languages, allow the Apple language-pack download, and retry with clear text and steady framing. Availability depends on the device, iOS version, and language pair. Translation frames and recognized text are not automatically saved or uploaded to a Peaceful Journey server.

Airport Operation And Public Data Sources

Free does not call official airport-data JSON endpoints and keeps user-started flight web search available. Verified Pro may query supported official sources for KAC-operated airports, ICN, AMS, ARN, and HEL while each source remains available. Unsupported, unavailable, stale, no-match, or discontinued source states fall back to web search.

Airport operation context is reference information only. The app does not guarantee real-time coverage or rewrite the user's itinerary; always confirm important changes with the airline or airport.

For source questions, include the airport, date, flight number if relevant, and the screen where the information appeared.

Weather, Hazard, And Disaster Source Checks

Weather or disaster context should be treated as reference information with source links. For urgent situations, check the relevant government, meteorological, emergency, or local authority source directly.

If a temporary WeatherKit or network failure appears, use Retry after the connection stabilizes. Apple Weather data keeps a small  Weather attribution label regardless of app language.

When reporting a source issue, include the location, date/time, visible source label, and a screenshot if possible.

Photos, Travel Library, And Secure Vault

For photo, diary, travelogue, receipt, or secure vault issues, include the affected travel date, media type, and whether the item was protected, shared, hidden, or exported. Avoid sending real passports, payment cards, private reservation numbers, or exact lodging addresses unless support explicitly asks for a redacted sample.

Affiliate Booking And Lodging Links

Peaceful Journey may provide clearly labeled accommodation or travel partner links for discovery and comparison convenience. Booking, payment, cancellation, refund, room availability, taxes, fees, and final policy details are handled by the partner website.

For partner link problems, include the partner page URL, visible label, and the step where the issue occurred. For reservation changes or refunds, contact the partner website first.
